I am an Apple Authorized Service Provider. Can I register my company with MacGenius? I have a Mac related website. How can I advertise on MacGenius? I would like to invest in MacGenius. Is this possible? How do you choose which consultants get which positions? If I am approved as a consultant do I get a base salary and benefits? What does it take to become a MacGenius consultant? We review all applicants very thoroughly to insure that the people we choose to be MacGenius consultants have the skills and personality it takes to properly represent MacGenius.com to our clients. More specifically we look for people that not only have extensive Macintosh related knowledge but a well rounded background that includes network design, project management, and a knowledge of other operating systems like Windows and Linux. Since MacGenius.com prides itself on having consultants in all parts of the world as well as multiple consultants in every area there are lots of openings. We receive tons of requests each and every day from people wanting to be MacGenius.com consultants and although we review each and every request we carefully select the top applicants to fill the open slots. If you think you've got what it takes, we look forward to hearing from you. Aren't there enough job sites out there? What exactly does MacGenius provide for me? There are a lot of job sites out there and more and more we see headhunters, search firms, and misc. start up your own business listings instead of companies wanting to speak with a candidate directly. Additionally some companies just need a project completed or need to speak with someone in the know. Although MacGenius does provide an opportunity for permanent placement with a company our main goal is to provide consultants a structured way to obtain the clients they need while making sure that each project fits the consultant's strengths so they can truly shine. I am an Apple Authorized Service Provider. Can I register my company with MacGenius? Absolutely. In fact, we encourage you to do so. A lot of people just need their company fixed or an additional component installed. Unlike our relationships with our consultants we pick one AASP in a specific region to represent MacGenius to our clients. There is a special agreement that needs to be signed with MacGenius in order to become a (MASP) MacGenius Authorized Service Provider and we ask that you please send us a detailed e-mail with your company's background, founder information, direct contacts, company URL, etc. to sales@macgenius.com with the subject MASP Application. I have a Mac related website. How can I advertise on MacGenius? Please send us an e-mail at sales@macgenius.com with all of your contact information, along with a brief description of your advertising plan. We will have one of our marketing specialists get back with you shortly.. We offer a range of advertising options and we think you'll be very pleased with the outcome. I would like to invest in MacGenius. Is this possible? MacGenius is owned by our parent corporation Edge Technologies Associates, Inc. and yes there are investor opportunities. Please give us call at (818) 774-1301 to discuss these options in detail. How do you choose which consultants get which positions? We carefully review the client's requirements and match the consultant that most closely meets those needs and is in the closest region to the customer. We review consultants starting from the ones that live in the direct vicinity of the client and move further away until we find a perfect match. If I am approved as a consultant do I get a base salary and benefits? Sorry but all MacGenius consultants act as independent contractors and are not employees of MacGenius. This means that you will get paid if and when we are able to present you to a client for a project. You will get paid an hourly or per project rate which will be discussed and agreed upon prior to you, as the consultant, accepting the position. There are no benefits that go along with this but we can tell you that as our relationships with our consultants grow we tend to bring certain individuals onboard as direct MacGenius employees to manage certain regions of consultants. Only our employees receive a salary and full benefits. Who should I contact regarding MacGenius website issues? We have been lucky enough to put together a great team here at MacGenius with the help of our parent company Edge Technologies Associates, Inc. At this time we are only looking for consultants and usually when we have an opening directly at our corporate offices we hire from within as we like our corporate team to be familiar with and dedicated to all aspects of our company.
