MacGenius - Who We Are
So, who are we and what exactly is MacGenius all about? Let's dive in and we'll tell you everything you ever wanted to know (and probably some stuff you didn't even think of asking).
MacGenius was developed because we saw a great need in both people and companies for qualified Macintosh consultants who not only specialized in Apple products but also had a great deal of knowledge and experience with other technologies such as Windows, Unix, networking, routers/switches/hubs, programming, etc.
We were meeting people on a daily basis who would ask us to recommend someone to come to their home or business to install, troubleshoot, complete a project, consult on a network design for a company (small or large), and so much more.
We were also meeting some brilliant people around the world that consistently told us how difficult it was to find work these days.
With those two things in mind, MacGenius was born.
Our concept was seemingly simple at it's heart. Put these brilliant consultants together with the people who need them most and everyone wins.
Well, although putting together a business such as this is never as easy as you hope it will be, through lots of hard work and a ton of marketing we were finally able to do it. With a corporate office full of people who love to talk tech and believe very deeply in the concept we are working on and with all of you out there who have a need for great people but don't want to the burden of hiring a full time person, we have grown by leaps and bounds. By the way, even though our first concept was to keep everyone consulting on an as needed basis we have also started placing some of our consultants in full time positions because the companies that have used our services asked for it. Today, both consulting on an as needed basis and placing people into full time positions are options for our clients.
